• The condition of participation in the conference is to fill the online application form (in Registration section) and pay the conference fee. In order to register a structured abstract of the article prepared in abstract template in Word file [available in download section] in English along with key words and JEL classification (http://www.aeaweb.org/jel/guide/jel.php) must be uploaded. The abstract should be prepared according to the formula: Name Author, Title in English, keywords, JEL Classification, the content of the abstract in English, compulsory structure of the abstract: Research background / Purpose of the article / Methods / Findings & Value added. Maximum length of the abstract: 300 words in total. After registration, participants will receive via e-mail confirmation of successful registration to the conference.   • After registration within two weeks, participants will receive information regarding the acceptance of the submitted abstract along with a pro-forma invoice for payment for participation in the conference.
  • Accommodation, transportation to Toruń and any other costs are excluded from the participation fee. 

  • The participants will receive electronically an invoice for the registration fee. Invoices will be issued at the end of the month for payment made in a given month. After receiving an electronic invoice participants are asked to transfer it immediately to the accounting department of their university.

 

As conference accommodation organizers suggest Hotel Mercure****. The conference organizers have negotiated reduced rates for conference participants, the cost of 1 night in single room 210 PLN, 1 night in double room 250 PLN with breakfast. The participants must book the hotel and pay the hotel fee on their own. In order to benefit discounted rates during booking the participants must give the password "Contemporary Issues in Economy" and make a reservation and payment for the hotel before 25 th March 2019. After 25 th March 2019, or when all the available rooms are reserved, it will not be possible to make reservation with the conference discount.

  • The conference will be held in English. The participants should prepare a 10 minute presentation using PowerPoint and send it to the organizers in advance in order to ensure the smooth speeches during the session. In the conference program only submitted presentations will be included. The deadline for submitting the presentation before the conference is 1 June 2019.

  • Program Outline:

Wednesday from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. conference registration in the hotel Mercure****.

Thursday from 8 a.m. till 10 a.m. conference registration in the hotel Mercure****.

The conference will begin in the morning of Thursday in the hotel Mercure**** with a plenary session at about 10 a.m., followed by parallel sessions until about 4 or 5 p.m.  The day will end with a Conference Dinner in the hotel Mercure****.

Friday will be devoted to parallel sessions starting at 10 a.m. to about 2 or 3 p.m.
